@thevenomsite literally perfect. i said this too, it should be Eddie 150% bc setting up the true notion of the character and his hate for spider-man is setup well w his past with eddie. Harry loved pete to the point of even begging the symbiote not to hurt pete in the final fight.
Insomniac Won on the front of Looks, Voice and overall power. He’s a beast. As the personality and story of Venom, the movies got it. The duality of the character is really shown in the movies and not the game. However both are missing their main Thing, their hate for spider-man
I have beaten Spider-man 2 and Got the Platinum. I’ll be doing a in depth review, but honestly one of if not my favorite games of all time. With that being said the Venom story is not good. He’s missing what makes Venom, Venom. I still love the game minus his story. #spiderman2
These two versions work not because they are Eddie Brock, but because there is a job done before he became Venom. They don't just show up to become the venom, but so that we can understand their motivations, or feel the pain of Peter losing a friend
@Bizarnage Genuinely really enjoyed it. Only flaws i see are in venom, as he is my favorite comic character OAT. He is missing hatred for spider-man and wanting to kill him. We needed eddie for that. Harry loves Pete and wanted his help. Not to mention he is barley called Venom AT ALL.
@thevenomsite Eddie was needed to have the hate inside venom. Harry loves pete and it’s noticeable in venom , such a strong version held back without the hate. He barley was even called venom. Peter while fighting and looking for him called him venom once, all the other times was harry’s name
Spider-Man 2 done! We enjoyed playing as both Spiders, missions, and the Easter eggs!
Venom was raw but the weakest part for us. Tony Todd was a standout, but the character fell short of the two big adaptations that he was influenced by and wasn’t as compelling as other villains
