Amazed by this number. 1 crore houses now don't pay any electricity bill or atleast reduced electricity bill for sure. This is surreal.

उदयनिधि स्टालिन कावेरी के पानी को लेकर बोल रहे थे, भीड़ तृषा-तृषा चिल्लाने लगी तो उन्होंने अभिनेत्री तृषा कृष्णन पर टिप्पणी कर दी। अब पुलिस उठाकर ले गई है।

यही भारत है। जंतर-मंतर पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को सौ गालियाँ देकर भी आप बच जाते हैं, अख़बारों में लेख लिखकर आपका बचाव किया जाता है। लेकिन, तमिलनाडु में ये सब नहीं चलता। पीएम मोदी की माँ या पत्नी पर टिप्पणी FoE है, लेकिन क्षेत्रीय दल ये सब स्वीकार नहीं करते। सनातन धर्म को डेंगू-मलेरिया बताकर उसे ख़त्म करने की बातें करने वाले उदयनिधि स्टालिन को तब कोई छू भी नहीं सका था, अब तृषा कृष्णन पर टिप्पणी करने के बाद गिरफ़्तार हो गए हैं।

चेन्नई में घर के बाहर समर्थक जमा थे, DMK की लीगल टीम बैठी हुई थी। कुछ काम नहीं आया। पुलिस तंजावुर ले गई है, वहाँ पूछताछ होगी। उनके ख़िलाफ़ आपराधिक षड्यंत्र से लेकर विभिन्न समूहों के बीच वैमनस्य फैलाने, दंगे भड़काने और किसी महिला का शील भंग करने से लेकर शांति भंग करने के लिए जानबूझकर अपमानजनक बयान देने और महिला प्रताड़ना और अश्लील सामग्री फैलाने तक की धाराएँ लगाई गई हैं।

तृषा कृष्णन के ख़िलाफ़ दिए गए इस बयान का समर्थन नहीं किया जा सकता, लेकिन पीएम मोदी की माँ या पत्नी पर टिप्पणी करने वाले चूजों के लिए भी नियम समान होना चाहिए।
