YMS 6th grade band, Jazz Band and 7th/8th Grade bands presented their spring concert tonight! Students were directed by Mr. Scott Schneider, director of YMS bands. @YCSD#LeadYCSD
Mrs. Anthony’s 6th grade classes designed their own landscapes! They used their knowledge of perimeter, area, and money to make their landscape and “purchase” items, using a set budget and dimensions. Students then used the Makerspace to create their lawns! @ycsd#EngageYCSD

Mrs. Mair’s 6th graders visited the Makerspace to learn about watersheds and ecosystems! They used an Enviroscape, participated in a permeable/impermeable lab and explored abiotic/biotic factors using VR scenes. @YCSD#EngageYCSD

Mrs. Mair’s 6th graders are participating in the GLOBE program! They’re collecting and analyzing weather data from our weather station and observing the atmospheric conditions including the sky, clouds and temperature.
