South Elkington WI has entered its local Christmas tree festival with a tree made out of over 80 knitted hats. At the end of the festival the hats will be donated to people experiencing homelessness. 🎄

At least 700,000 tiny pieces of plastic could be being released into our seas and rivers every time we wash our clothing 🧺🌊

We had a lovely visit to see the war memorial War Horse in Featherstone, West Yorks. 353 lives from the town were lost during WW1 and the same number of trees were planted in commemoration. We then enjoyed a catch-up and cuppa..with hot buttered toasted tea cakes.
