Vindya Silva, Partnerships Director for USAID's youth employment and entrepreneurship project, @YouLead_SL, held a lunch and learn session today for IESC's home office staff in Washington, DC, on alternative career pathways for Sri Lanka's youth in the digital economy.
After completing IESC’s entrepreneurship development program delivered by the USAID youth employment and entrepreneurship project, @YouLead_SL, Priyanthi joined over 4,000 other women in formalizing her business. Her tailoring business is now registered and employs five women.
Through USAID’s youth employment and entrepreneurship project, @YouLead_SL, IESC held a Career Guidance Program in Mullativu District, providing 332 unemployed Sri Lankan youth with one-on-one career guidance and delivering vital skills to enable them to enter the workforce.
