Al di là di come la pensiamo sui “contenuti” che porta in tv, mi sembra innegabile che il partito di Luigi Marattin sia quello tra tutti i partiti italiani che sembra più corrispondere - da un punto di vista *strettamente tecnico* - alla famosa definizione di "quinta colonna" o "asset" di una potenza egemone straniera che va per la maggiore in un certo circoletto: una potenza peraltro dorata di apartheid, in fase espansionista, con effetti indiretti catastrofici per l'ecomomia e la stabilità sociale europea, con un premier responsabile di crimini di guerra. Il programma del Partito Liberal Democratico sul conflitto israelo-palestinese (l'ho pubblicato giorni fa) è - sempre da un punto di vista *strettamente tecnico*, ripetiamolo - innegabilmente e grottescamente più fazioso e parareligioso di buona parte dell'opposizione israeliana; il rapporto simbiotico con le lobby pro-Netanyahu che organizzano tour nei kibbutz è rivendicato apertamente. La pena di morte etnica reintrodotta nei territori occupati è stata definita, dal capo del PDL, una «brutta decisione» frutto di «istinto» e «rabbia».

Eppure, nonostante il sedicente partito liberaldemocratico di cui sopra sia una formazione molecolare, collocata dai sondaggi al di sotto del margine d'errore (tra l'1% e l’1,5%), Marattin è stato intervistato 37 volte nel 2025: solo 5 meno di Conte, 4 meno di Schlein, una meno di Bonelli ben 11 più di Fratoianni e addirittura 7 più di Salvini. Marattin viene invitato a parlare regolarmente di Medio Oriente, nonostante sia conosciuto per essere un economista (ex PDS, peraltro). È un perenne favorito di TeleMeloni e spopola come "competente" tra i baroni dall'opinionismo italiano (specie tra alcuni post-Radicali) con un decano come Aldo Grasso che addirittura ha suggerito di invitarlo più spesso per elevare l'onestà intellettuale del dibattito.

Quindi il punto è sempre lo stesso: una posizione come quella di Marattin esiste anche altrove e finanche fisiologica nel paese di Oriana Fallaci. Ma cosa ci dice la sua sovraesposizione sullo stato dei nostri media e del nostro establishment? Cosa ci dice sui doppi standard del nostro Grande Centro, del nostro opinionismo tradizionale, ma anche di un certo giornalismo-attivistico molto "hip", che etichetta come pericolo pubblico e parte della guerra ibrida una riunione di anziani filorussi in teatro, e poi perde le parole per commentare questa roba qui?
