This week's Tour stop: TPC Craig Ranch for the CJ Cup Byron Nelson.

Here are 4 things to know:

1 → The old version was widely considered one of the worst venues on the PGA Tour. That course is gone thanks to a $25M renovation by Lanny Wadkins.

2 → According to Dallas Morning News, David Pillsbury, CEO of Invited Clubs (operator of TPC Craig Ranch), admitted only about half the $25M spend was actually justified - the rest was to "make a statement" and keep their title sponsor CJ Group (the Korean conglomerate behind Bibigo and Parasite) happy.

3 → Sneaky biggest change: Ryegrass rough out, Bermuda in. Should be harder to hit out of. Course will play completely different than it did when Scottie went 31-under last year.

4 → TPC Craig Ranch has been played by 27 players on the Course Vaults app with an average rating of 8/10. It currently ranks #50 in the Great State of Texas.
