And no, it isn't really. The franchise is clearly more known to be third person. There are like 30 games and only 5 of them are first person.

Resident Evil overall is not know to be a First Person Videocgame series.

There are like 30 games in the series and only like 5 of them are first person.

But yeah, it's clearly not an adaption of the games. It's taken a hell of a lot of inspiration from the early games and that's it. Inspiration.

It will probably have a few references to events too.
