@RepDavid This hits why Turning 65 skepticism is so high. It’s rarely a volume issue; it’s a filtering and timing issue. When Social Security is impacted, compliance and education matter more than a pitch. Is the bigger hurdle data transparency or enrollment timing?
@nikillinit This is a massive gap in the Medicare space specifically. We see the same disconnect during AEP as the "Star ratings" look great on paper, but they don't help a Turning 65 client know if a doctor actually specializes in their specific chronic condition.
When is the best time to shop your Medigap/Medicare Supplement Plans?
You can shop them all year long. But during AEP is the most difficult and delays response time due to the volume of applications.

@AuntSassyAss You’re right Medicare basics are automatic at 65, and there are low-cost programs to help with premiums and costs. Even checking eligibility helps!. If it helps, you could check out our 60sec Medicare guide here:

@1Nicdar You’re not forced Medicare covers basics. Supplements are optional, just help cover gaps. Don’t miss your enrollment window! If it helps, you could check out our 60sec Medicare guide here: https://t.co/aXknqUmh4T
@GetMadaboutit@MaggieMae_01@MatrixMysteries Yeah you’re right miss your timing with Medicare and the penalty can stick. That $185 is the standard Part B, but there are programs that can help lower it. If it helps, you could check out our 60sec Medicare guide here:

Seniors on Medicare Advantage spend $3,486 less per year than those on FFS Medicare. Those savings help them enjoy life and prepare for unexpected expenses. Changes in program funding could mean fewer savings for seniors.
@superbrucifer@BernieSanders Great question! Healthcare impacts everyone, especially those on Medicare. @SirBylHolte If your company has 20+ employees, your work plan stays primary! You can legally delay Part B, skip that $203 premium, and avoid all late penalties until you retire.

@SirBylHolte You're completely right about the math ($2,400/yr for coverage you don't use is brutal), but you might have been given terrible advice about your work insurance. 🚨
Your employer plan ONLY becomes secondary at 65 if the company has fewer than 20 employees.
@MedicareGov The biggest hidden trap here? The 6-month IRS penalty. 🚨
Because Medicare Part A can be retroactive, you must stop all HSA contributions 6 months before you actually apply for Medicare.
Don't let a tax penalty ruin your retirement! Follow for more. 💡
@1AndreaConnolly@DrOzCMS Hi Andrea! I can see why you’d question that. Hospice under Medicare is meant for comfort care, not recovery, so rehab services are usually limited once that option is chosen. It really comes down to the type of care someone needs at that point.
@deb77myers@Leann4Trump2024@WallStreetApes I’m really sorry, that’s a tough situation to be in. You’re right, Medicare doesn’t cover everything, especially long term care. Medicaid can step in once resources are limited, and there may be ways to plan around some of this.
@girl75219@HeatherR411 I’m so sorry you’re going through this, Heather, that’s a lot to handle at once. And yes, Citygirl is right, Medicare can help with some at home care after a hospital stay if it’s medically needed🤍
