@mindlessmindz@DPermabear@RogueWalk@PaulTassi Well they were also working on marathon and other projects, probably mainly marathon. They were also laying people off just to save cash
@DPermabear@PaulTassi Unfortunately he has a point, destiny content is very expensive to make, to the point of the studio almost shutting down, unfortunately they also made content that made players leave the game so they just ended themselves
@JamesDa89678904@TheOldWeirdPro The problem is you spending money on destiny helps marathon, because the money you’re putting into destiny is going to marathon
@TheOldWeirdPro So force myself to play a game I’ve put 11k hours in already? Not buying annual pass, let’s be honest here that money would go to marathon and not destiny so no
@lowkster80313@Elperiquero4U@A_dmg04 I have over 11k hours in d2, so when I say this, it’s not some random talking shit. People don’t want to save destiny 2 they want to
Save the destiny ip. ATM there’s no d3 happening, no plans for it. Destiny 2 has already ended which is fine the game has been going for 9 years.
@A_dmg04 Dude just get another job and stay away from X, btw I don’t think building momentum was the right call more like we should prepare for the worst.
@BlameItOnRyen Marathon can die too, bungie can get absorbed into Sony. Why would I support a a game I don’t want to play to begin with. I’ll enjoy what’s left of d2 and move on.
@Tbirdyyyy@ThomasCGavin@Skarrow9 Marathon barely beating out a 9 year old game when marathon ain’t even a 1 year old game. D2 was meta, marathon was always just stolen art that should have never see the light of day.
@dragonWraith4@Skarrow9 Bungo is dumb, they made an awful decision making marathon to begin with. They spread themselves too thin with a crap ton of game projects, and now they’re backing marathon while d2 gets the side bitch treatment while d2 paying the bills for 9 years.
