At the 2026 Acceleration Week for Global Youth Development, Khagendra Acharya from Nepal, founder of OYA Opportunities, introduced his digital information service platform designed to bridge the critical information gap that prevents global youth from accessing international education and career development opportunities. By systematically collecting and publishing scholarships, conferences, internships, and exchange programs from around the world, the platform ensures efficient dissemination and precise reach of information, helping young people — especially those in underserved regions — gain equal access to education and opportunities.

From June 11 to 17, the 2026 Acceleration Week for Global Youth Development Programs was successfully held in Shanghai and Wuhan!
Extensive Selection: 200 young representatives from over 80 countries were initially selected, with 170 participants from more than 70 countries ultimately gathering for the Acceleration Week. They were supported by 24 Chinese and international mentors, who provided accelerated support for the youth's innovative practices in promoting sustainable development.
Program Empowerment: Through program pitch, thematic training, and mentors reviews at the workshops, 53 programs stood out and were recognized as excellence actions in the 2026 Excellence Programs of the Action Plan for Global Youth Development. Additionally, during two partnership meetings, 84 programs reached letter of Intent for Cooperation.
Community Building: Five sessions of the "Global Link for Youth Actions” were held as warm-up and preparatory events. By adopting an online-offline integrated, community-based, and platform-driven operational model, the initiative aims to cultivate more youth pioneer communities for sustainable development and deepen international cooperation in youth development.
Let's take action! Let us put the Global Development Initiative and the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development into practice through concrete actions.

Highlighting the urgency of the SDGs, she emphasized that investing in youth—through education, digital inclusion, and decent jobs—is how we transform ambition into progress.
Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs Felipe Paullier returned to the forum once again. As a long-time friend of the forum, he praised China's continued efforts to advance this platform for youth exchange and cooperation, saying it is action-oriented and helps young people around the world connect with resources, opportunities and networks. Through these exchanges, more young people's ideas are gaining greater visibility, and their initiatives are reaching a broader audience.
