Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3)

Most series never get an ending. They just stop, or they get rebooted five years later.

This one ends. Twenty years of story, wrapped up, in one game.

This is the only reason I ever wanted a PlayStation 3, and it's still the best game on that console.

It sat locked on the PS3 for eighteen years because of how it was built. Konami finally got it off there last week, on the Master Collection Vol. 2. I'm two hours into it.

Everybody's complaint is the cutscenes. Too many, too long, you watch more than you play. Same thing since 2008, and most of the people saying it watched this game on YouTube instead of playing it.

Play Act 4. On the ride in you're playing Shadow Moses again in original PlayStation graphics.

Then you're standing in it a decade later, in a snowstorm, and it's a ruin with machines walking the halls instead of soldiers.

The microwave hallway is still the hardest thing this series ever asked anyone to sit through, and it isn't close.

Old Snake is the whole idea. They aged their guy out on purpose and made you play him falling apart, and it's better for it.

This is a better game than Snake Eater.

The Last of Us has been the answer to "best PS3 game" for over a decade and it's the wrong one. Same with Uncharted 2. Both got remastered onto everything since, and this one sat on a dead console for eighteen years and is still better than either.

I rate Metal Gear Solid 4 a 5 out of 5.

@tortuenoire23 Mgs4 c’est le BLOCKBUSTER de la saga le rythme pour moi il est logique si c’est la fin de la saga tu dois en mettre plein la vue c’est normal que la base infiltration se perd sur celui la car ca donnerai pas une intensité similaire pour beaucoup de gens

@SinjBam8 @AymenZeRRR C’est une saga d’action/infiltration, tu peux te renseigner sur la façon de les faire ordre de sortie ou chronologiquement. Je te conseille en effet de tous les faire (canon) avant de toucher MGS 4 qui est la conclusion réel de la saga et tu apprécieras tellement plus le jeu.
