I told my husband that I’d just realized a friend had stopped inviting me to openings at her gallery, and he said, “How disheartening to be snubbed by a friend whose existence you had forgotten.” 🤣
Rental car is new, expensive, and utterly undriveable.
Main problem is the aggressive notification to take a break with a coffee emoji and five loud beeps. It is triggered if you drive too close to the line or veer even slightly outside the perfect center, like threading a needle constantly.
So it screams at you for even the slightest venial sin -- providing more moral exhortations than a puritan preacher in 17th century Plymouth. This happened every ten minutes or so on a 2.5 hour drive. Makes one insane. If I drank all the coffee they had suggested, I would have been hospitalized.
Meanwhile anything you want to do -- turn on the radio, change the temp, change the station whatever -- comes with a text warning not to be distracted and a terms of use approval, as if this is not distracting in itself. I'm certain the rental is somehow linked to the Internet so you get the sense that you are not driving at all. Paradoxically, it all feels extremely unsafe and it is impossible to relax. Horrid!
The one time someone snuck into my blindspot going 80 -- now way to see this because this SUV has the outward visibility of a tank -- the magic seeing eyes did not notice. It is more interesting in correcting that helping me. What a miserable experience.
It's odd because the US went all in with cars after WW2 at the expense of passenger trains on grounds that cars offer individual freedom. These new cars do NOT offer individual freedom. They are hectoring, surveilling, prisons on wheels. By constantly registering distrust in you as the driver, they deprecate volition and hence make driving less safe than ever.
Mamdani's socialists don't want to tax billionaires. They want to eradicate Western civilization — and they said so out loud.
Here's who's really using them, and why.
Today at my local liberal-elite coffee shop in Massachusetts, a small crowd gathered around a single mom with a one-year-old.
She explained that after giving birth, while home alone eating her own placenta, she realized she was actually a man.
That revelation, she said, forced the “most harrowing decision” of her life.
She wanted to breastfeed her baby but couldn’t continue doing so while taking testosterone. She chose to transition anyway because she didn’t want to “lie” to her child about who she really was.
But it gets better.
She felt no guilt depriving her child of breast milk, yet did feel guilty about losing “skin-on-skin breast nuzzles” so she has postponed her mastectomy.
But wait, there’s more.
Because she didn’t feel authentically male with breasts, she intentionally gained dozens of pounds on top of her pregnancy weight, explaining that it’s normal for “larger men to have breasts.”
Now she wants to encourage husbands to gain weight alongside their pregnant wives so they, too, can experience “skin-on-skin breast nuzzles.”
The term “skin-on-skin breast nuzzles,” was mentioned at least a dozen times. It was the third most used term I overheard after “authentic self” and “you are so brave.”
She also wants more men to grow beards because she read that babies benefit from playing with facial hair. She thinks this is something the “Muslim tradition really gets right.”
Yes, she had a beard. A scraggly one.
She’s also considering starting a foundation to promote this work but probably couldn’t because “Trump has made 501(c)(3)s basically illegal” and doesn’t want the “gestapo stopping us.”
She may instead “go underground” and accept cash donations instead.
The small crowd nodded enthusiastically through every word.
One older woman suggested that more “skin-on-skin breast nuzzles” and “beard play” might be the cure for “so many young American boys becoming fascists.”
It remained unclear whether the baby was a boy or a girl.
Nobody dared ask.
Another banger of a thread by @DataRepublican!
The DSA takeover of the U.S. government by “socialist” candidates is largely funded by the German government - especially in New York.
Check out this article on DSA Berlin’s website in 2020:
CONCLUSION:
German Bundestag appropriates EUR 70M/year to Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung in Berlin. Their own annual report: "This includes financing its foreign offices."
Cumulative revenue of the New York office: $19.1 million over 13 years.
New York office employs Neal Meyer, who served as NYC-DSA's treasurer and published DSA electoral strategy from the German foundation's platform.
New York office's director, born in East Germany and a former Bundestag member for the party that descends from the SED, publishes performance evaluations of a DSA mayor while claiming years of collaboration with his appointees.
NYC-DSA votes 82% to endorse Darializa Avila Chevalier. She wins.
Everything in this thread is from public IRS filings, the foundation's own website, and the foundation's own YouTube channel. The pipeline runs from the Bundestag to the United States House of Representatives and it has been in public view the entire time.
Enough is enough.
🚨🧵 MAJOR BREAKING: German government has been grooming DSA leaders for over a decade, and nobody noticed? 🇩🇪
Last night, Darializa Avila Chevalier — endorsed by NYC-DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) — beat a five-term incumbent to win New York's 13th congressional district.
@AsraNomani has been reporting on their ties to Cuba and the China/Singham network. But what’s not known is DSA’s deep ties to the German government.
The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS) is the political foundation of Die Linke — the German parliamentary party formed from the merger of the Party of Democratic Socialism, itself the legal successor to East Germany's ruling Marxist party, the SED.
Under German law, every party in the Bundestag gets a taxpayer-funded foundation. Die Linke's share is approximately EUR70MM annually.
Most German party foundations sponsor conferences, publish research, and fund exchange programs. What RLS-NYC did was put its own staff inside DSA's organizational leadership — concurrently — for over a decade.
In 2012, RLS opened a New York office. EIN 45-3658022. Their own annual report states: "With the help of funds from the BMZ and the Foreign Office, the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung maintains a network of international relationships. This includes financing its foreign offices."
Over the last 13 years, Berlin has sent millions to this office.
Despite these ties, no FARA registration for the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung was identified in the Department of Justice database.
As always, patience as I pull together the thread.👇
I find it interesting that these "random shooters" never target the politicians who are actually the ones causing all the problems and the timing of the shooting always syncs up with a current government agenda. Australia, UK and Canada all seem to be using the same playbook.
💥REPORT: CBC claims a Manifesto was left by the Montreal shooter that connects him to violent incel ideology—which the public will likely never see—and by Thursday, Barbara Perry will connect it to white supremacy and far-right extremism.
💥 Former OPP Commissioner Chris Lewis nails it:
The deliberate misinterpretations of Seth Hatfield’s manifesto come from two sources: activists with clear political and social agendas, or people who simply cannot read plain English and have no business polluting public discourse with their low-IQ takes.
The manifesto does not rant about women. It maps the direct, predictable consequences of a hypergamous system — and while it critiques women’s role in sustaining it, it also describes their behaviour as a rational response to the incentives the system created.
The claim that Hatfield was an incel driven by personal hatred of women is a lazy, politically convenient lie. His writings reveal an anti-authoritarian revolutionary mindset shaped by radical communist ideology, not sexual rejection.
A majority Muslim city council in Michigan voted to permanently ban the LGBTQ Pride Flag on public property.
White liberal women who welcomed refugees from Islamic countries are now wondering what happened.
Consequences of suicidal empathy coming to a leftist town near you.
So let me get this straight: An "incel" from Alberta decides he's going to wage war against feminism. To do this, he drives 30 hours across the country to a Jewish neighborhood in Montreal... to shoot at police officers?
This narrative checks off every classic Laurentian boogeyman in the playbook: Albertans supposedly hate Quebec, the sexually frustrated misogynist who blames women for his failures, and the gun owner wielding a non restricted firearm that somehow slipped through the Liberals' supposedly effective gun control regime. Notice how the Quebec gun control lobby has been laser focused on the SKS, the exact weapon used in this attack, for months prior? This is the exact type of false flag slop I would expect from a midwit Laurentian glowies. This isn't even believable dude.
Let's examine the tactical logic. If someone genuinely wanted to use violence against the entities they believed had wronged them, corrupt politicians, cultural Marxist professors, pornography executives, why target armed police officers in a distant city? Why not softer, more symbolically relevant targets closer to home? Driving 3,000 kilometers to shoot at the most heavily armed and trained first responders doesn't make strategic sense; it's practically suicidal in a way that guarantees maximum media coverage with minimal operational success.
The timing is equally suspect. The Liberal government has been struggling to implement their sweeping gun ban, a policy that historically only succeeds in the aftermath of high profile mass shootings. Now they're selectively releasing manifesto details several hours after the attack, perfectly positioned to exploit politically and pin everything on this convenient mythological figure: the "incel terrorist."
Consider also that the Liberals have hemorrhaged support from Jewish communities across Canada due to their tacit endorsement of rabid pro Palestinian activists who have spent months attacking, harassing, and intimidating Jewish Canadians. This attack arrives conveniently to shift the narrative away from their betrayal of Jewish voters and back onto their preferred bogeyman: the false right wing extremist threat. It is a narrative they have relied upon since the end of World War II, whenever they need to consolidate power and distract from their policy failures.
We shouldn't forget the broader political utility here. Liberal governments have always depended on maintaining an artificially constructed hostility between Western Canada and Quebec. They position themselves as the mitigator between these supposedly irreconcilable regions while both sides remain distracted from the simultaneous extraction of wealth through various embezzlement schemes.
And for those who dismiss the possibility of orchestration entirely, remember that MK ULTRA, the CIA's infamous mind control program, was partially operated in Montreal. The infrastructure for advanced psychological manipulation was developed in this very city. To believe that the same networks of power don't still employ these tactics to manufacture crises with pre packaged solutions is, at best, willfully naive.
The script is too perfect, the timing too convenient, and the boogeymen too precisely aligned with the government's immediate political needs.
The tourist in YVR? Can relate. When we lived in Victoria we couldn't leave anything nice on our front stoop. It would get stolen & turned into $$ for drugs. This was 15 years ago already.

Wow, I know people who were ( <–past tense) like this guy, but about whom I have little hope that they will ( <–future tense) actually ever watch any of Charlie Kirk's debates. I wish they would. People really do have to break out of the mainstream media stranglehold.
This is the western part of Montreal island. Absolutely insane. Apparently, it didn't even rain that much. Yet this happens every year. Why?
