Congratulations to our 2025 Powerhouse Sports: Offensive Player of the Year, Jackson running back Ezavier “EJ” Crowell! We’ve covered EJ since his freshman year, and what a journey it has been. He capped off his senior season by breaking the rushing record in the 4A State Title game with 304 yards! This year, he led the state of Alabama with 209 carries for 2,632 yards and 35 touchdowns. EJ is one of the most humble young men you’ll ever meet, but on the field he’s an absolute gamer. We can’t wait to watch him thrive at Alabama.
