@eNCA The reality is that the hospitals are crowded and there definitely is a shortage of wheel chairs on hospitals. I saw with my own eyes sometime lastweek at Helen Joseph hospital where patients were hogging into wheel chairs due to the unavailability of adequate equipment.

@Abramjee All well and good that the MEC of Health has followed up on just Tom Londons complaint. There is a wider spectrum of patients who I personally have heard complain of the appalling state of facilities and inhumane treatment they revive from nursing staff.

It’s a sad state of affairs that everything under state care has fallen apart. In the apartheid era all state service was kept in pristine condition and professionals behaved professionally although it was an era of racism

@CityofJoburgZA @JoburgFinance This looks like a double dip charge. Did the rate pre July 24 not already have all charges included. 2ndly prepaid electricity comes at a higher cost already as opposed to post paying customers.
