The Venga App turns 2 years old today 🥳

On September 4th 2024, we officially announced the launch of the Venga App!

We started with one simple mission: make crypto easy to understand, access, and invest in.

Two years later, well… things have evolved quite a lot:
🔸 We released the Spanish and Catalan app versions
🔸 We introduced new products and Earn opportunities
🔸 We completely revamped the UX and UI
🔸 We made countless improvements behind the scenes
🔸 We added new partners and integrations
🔸 We grew our community to around 35,000 users
🔸 And we secured our MiCA license

But those first two years were about building solid foundations. Now comes the fun part! 😎

We’re putting our focus back on product development, with more useful products and features, more investment opportunities, a better Venga experience, and more ways for our users to learn about crypto.

Good talk in Monaco 🇲🇨

Last week, our team was present at the @waibsummit, where our Growth & Product Marketing Manager @YvanDomingues joined the panel:
“Who Tells the Web3 Story? Media, Builders, and the Race to Mainstream Adoption.” 📢

Despite having more than 500M crypto users, adoption is still not where many of us hoped it would be…

But the technology is here, UX keeps improving, and access to the ecosystem has never been easier.

So maybe the challenge lies more in how we talk about it 🤔

That’s exactly what was discussed during the panel, and it was a real pleasure to participate in the conversation.

This Thursday, April 23rd, Catalan streets will be filled with books, roses, and people celebrating this tradition inspired by the legend of Sant Jordi and the dragon.

Since Barcelona is our home, we’re joining the festivities in style this year!

We’re organizing 3 different activations:

📻 The Day in Barcelona
On Thursday, we’ll be in Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona with Flaixbac running a live activation with roses, merch, and a prize wheel with crypto rewards.

🎁 The Crazy Giveaway
Since last week, and until the 27th, every new user in Spain who signs up and verifies their account automatically enters a giveaway to win a fabulous prize of 5,000€.

🐉 The Digital Hunt
We launched an easter egg hunt inside the Venga app, where new verified users can discover hidden memories of the Dragon and earn USDC rewards for each catch.
