🚨🚨 BREAKING NEWS
Last summer, Sebastian Bond — the man behind the messaging board Tattle Life — was unmasked as the “King of the Trolls”, hit with £300k damages, told to pay costs of over a million and had his assets frozen… in a lawsuit he didn’t even know had been brought against him.
Now the High Court has thrown that judgment out.
A new judge found the court had been "misled" by the plaintiffs' solicitors, with “serious and repeated” failures to follow basic legal rules. Bond was not notified he was being sued and as a result had no chance to face his accusers in court or defend himself.
As our General Secretary Lord Young says, this was like “a SLAPP on steroids”.

Translation: oops, didn’t realise people outside our ideological bubble are THIS pissed off about the loss of sex-based rights. We remain implacably opposed to any organisation fighting to retain them, but shove in the words ‘rights of women’ to keep the bigots happy.
BREAKING: Jennifer Melle, a Christian nurse who was investigated, suspended, disciplined and referred to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) after declining to use a convicted paedophile patient’s preferred pronouns has written to government ministers demanding urgent national guidance for the NHS.
In February, Jennifer, who has been supported by the Christian Legal Centre, met with Bridget Phillipson and health minister, Karin Smyth, in parliament.
Jennifer was told that no nurse should be punished for using incorrect pronouns in the NHS. However, guidance from Jennifer's own Trust and the NMC say that doing so is a disciplinary issue.
This has to be resolved.

‘Advocating for women’s rights and for women’s legal right to same-sex spaces is, according to Amnesty, hateful.’ — ✍️@alexmassie

You are a disgusting, conceited, condescending, morbidly obese misogynist who was horrible to a great woman who had just been murdered.
Why has @SkyNews not fired you?
@PeterTatchell While we’re on the subject of apologies, who not admit you’ve been consistently wrong in defending child sexual abuse for over 3 decades? By the way what exactly did you do on your trip to Papua New Guinea during those years your Netflix show passes over?
2./ Is there anyone else in public life who has openly defended men raping boys as Tatchell did in a letter to the Guardian in 1997? It ended with this clarion call: "it is time society acknowledged that not all sex with children is unwanted, abusive and harmful." Nah mate.
1./ 🧵@PeterTatchell's awful comments on Ann Widdecombe's death have shocked many in the mainstream media. Why though do they turn a blind eye to something just as shocking: his career-long defence of child sexual abuse? Let me tell you why Tatchell should be a pariah. 👉

Maybe they’ve decided to belatedly seek legal advice. Unless they’re even more reckless and arrogant than Stonewall, they must surely have anticipated that the organisations they targeted would do so.
It appears that (as many of us have suspected for years) Amnesty believes certain kinds of humans don’t deserve rights: women, girls and those who are proudly same-sex attracted. I hope donors from those groups are taking note.
BREAKING: The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have been urged to reverse their decision to ban a General Synod display sharing Christian testimonies of transformation in relation to sexual identity.
In another extraordinary development, the Archbishops have also asked for reassurances that ‘conversion practices’ will be discussed but not carried out at the fringe event on Monday. A deadline for these reassurances has been set for 4pm today (Friday).
See more on our website. There is more to come on this as General Synod begins this afternoon in York👇

Spanish 🇪🇸 politician Lorena Roldan:
“Against the burka and the niqab. If someone gets impure thoughts or doesn’t know how to control his primal instincts: let him cover himself or lock himself up in his house, not us.”
Jamey Carney, a 43 year old American living in Ireland, converted to Islam at the request of her partner, Ahmad Al-Saqr, a Jordanian man she met in Ireland through her contacts in the pro-Palestinian movement.
Yesterday, her brutally beaten body was discovered in her home by her 13 year old daughter. Al-Saqr is in the wind. Irish authorities are actively searching for him, and it is suspected that he is responsible for Carney’s death.
This should be a wake up call to all those stupid women on the Left who think that Islam is a religion of peace, and that they can play at conversion without losing anything. Well, Jamey Carney lost her life, and it’s not a day goes by that we don’t hear about some Western woman who converted to Islam and is now trapped in some misogynistic Islamic hellhole like Saudi Arabia, where women have about as many rights as cattle, begging strangers online for money to get home — as if her husband won’t just take it, and with the government’s blessing, too.
Get this through your heads: Islam hates you. Muslim men hate you because you are a woman. They believe that we are less human than they are, that we are worth less than they are, and that we were created by Allah to be owned and controlled by them. They don’t see Western women as human beings and potential partners — they see us as unclaimed property, free for the taking, and there isn’t even an iota of respect involved.
Women should not date men who see us as being worth less than they are simply because we are women.
Don’t be the next Jamey Carney.
📣🚨 METROPOLITAN POLICE OFFER UNRESERVED APOLOGY TO GRAHAM LINEHAN AND PAY HIM £25,000
The Metropolitan Police have at long last offered an unreserved apology to Graham Linehan and paid him £25,000.
Last September, the Irish comedian and co-creator of Father Ted was arrested by five armed police officers as he landed at Heathrow Airport.
His crime? Three gender-critical posts on X.
He was arrested, taken to a police station and questioned for several hours. In the early hours of the following morning, he was rushed to hospital after his blood pressure rose to dangerously high levels.
The Free Speech Union is proud to have supported Graham in taking legal action against the Metropolitan Police for wrongful arrest and breaches of his free speech rights.
General Secretary of the Free Speech Union, Lord Young, has said: “I’m beginning to lose count of the number of cases we’ve fought in which the police have arrested someone for a tweet, decided to take no further action and then had to pay them substantial compensation for wrongful arrest.
“At some point you’d think the penny would drop: police our streets, not our tweets.”
While we welcome the Metropolitan Police’s apology and compensation payout to @Glinner, this should never have happened in the first place.
It is high time the police focused on our streets, not our tweets.

@fionagoddarduk So sorry you are continuously let down Fiona. Your bravery has shone though this, not just for you, but others too.
I wish you a peaceful day tomorrow, happy birthday .
What is going on with Labour and social media?
The Free Speech Union has been discussing internally whether Andy Burnham will be better or worse than Sir Keir Starmer when it comes to free speech.
We’ve concluded that he’ll be just as bad — if not worse.
Andy Burnham’s team has confirmed that he will push ahead with Starmer’s controversial social media ban for under-16s. We also know that the Technology Secretary, Liz Kendall, is looking into a potential ban on VPNs, which would put the UK in the same league as Iran, Iraq and North Korea.
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport, led by Burnham ally and constituency neighbour Lisa Nandy, has also published a Green Paper, Watch This Space, which proposes forcing social media companies to prioritise the promotion of what the Government deems to be “trustworthy” news sources — namely content from public service broadcasters such as the BBC.
There is no evidence that Andy Burnham would abandon these plans when he enters Downing Street in just 13 days’ time.
This is a deeply concerning proposal and an extraordinary interference with freedom of association and free speech on social media — one that the Free Speech Union opposes wholeheartedly.
In another full-frontal assault on free speech and our right to engage in open political debate online, Labour’s Deputy Leader and close Burnham ally Lucy Powell wants to impose new legal duties through the Representation of the People Bill that would effectively treat private citizens as broadcasters and censor social media platforms during election periods.
This raises serious practical questions. Would individuals be prevented from expressing political views on social media during elections? The Free Speech Union also cannot see how such restrictions could realistically apply only to UK citizens. Surely they would have to extend to overseas users as well? President Trump and JD Vance would almost certainly have something to say about that.
This all seems to be part of Labour’s explanation for why it is struggling in the polls. Rather than recognising that people are concerned about issues such as mass uncontrolled migration, higher taxes, unemployment and soaring energy bills, Labour ministers appear to believe that voters are simply being misled by misinformation and disinformation on platforms such as X.
Last Thursday, Lisa Nandy flounced off X, citing an increase in abuse and the spread of misinformation and disinformation.
If Government ministers — particularly those responsible for the media — are concerned about misinformation, they should remain on the platform and challenge it. Trying to suppress it is not the answer.
As Louis Brandeis famously said, “The remedy to harmful speech is more speech, not enforced silence.”
