Crossover is a get off me tool that puts your assists on cooldown and resets neutral so it’s decent

There’s different characters that mix in different ways instead of it being universal

@ChromeAlchemist I think it’s definitely a super casual friendly version of a tag fighter. Coming from 2XKO and DBFZ i thank god it isn’t as crazy as those 2 games when it comes to offensive pressure and mixups

It’s not going to come close to being one of the most intricate fighters. You can’t even do half of the crazy mix other ones can but i still don’t think that makes it a bad game

I guess they don’t want the game to be overloaded with straight mix

Wolv has great hitboxes for his Jump attacks for jump in mix and he has weapon X for crossups that can easily be confirmed with a rush assist

Freestyle needed a nerf. Being able to handshake tag twice is strong as hell and unless it has serious drawbacks there’s no reason to pick anything else unless they make other fuses better by making them broken

@TerrAkoFGC @Kiske632146H This entire sequence is the weakest mix of all time. The game doesn’t have pushblock because crossup protection is really strong and you can only input 4 normals on block

You can block this entire combo with just holding back to block. The active tag and cross up mix aren’t bad

@Kiske632146H @AudiZYX Lowkey i like it. Its beginner friendly and also leaves room for you to still get really advanced with the right comps and characters utilizing all 4 members of your team

And with assist calls being special canceleble they’re basically just bonus specials that cost a resource

With 4 characters I’m noticing instead of EVERYBODY being cracked left right mix demons there’s characters specifically made to fill that niche on a team

Magik has left right with portals, blade can sandwich with his spinning blade, danger can do the same with her unique, Spidey has high low after arachnid assault, Starlord has restands, Wolverine has easy 50/50’s off rekka etc

@GuileWinQuote I think the game is made this way because your supposed to put a character or characters on your team that’s meant for mixups

The mix is there you just have to work for it and utilize your entire team cause some characters are built for crossup, strike throw or high lows
