This free model just beat every closed-source AI on coding benchmarks. Open weights. 6x cheaper than Opus. The labs don't want you to know it exists.
> GLM-5.2 from Zai just topped Code Arena - the first open-weights model to ever hold the #1 coding spot. Not a leaked weight, not a fine-tune.
A fully open model beating GPT and Claude on their own turf.
It's live on Hugging Face Inference API right now. 5 providers: Novita, Together AI, Fireworks, Deepinfra, Zai. OpenAI-compatible client.
→ Go to huggingface(.)co
→ grab HF_TOKEN from account settings
→ plug into any OpenAI-compatible client
6x cheaper than Opus. Companies bleeding on AI bills are already routing to this for orchestration, caching, and token optimization.
The smart money moved before the headline dropped.
> Now you know.

OpenAI just gave Codex the feature that replaces Zapier. Show it once what to do in a browser. It records, builds the script, runs it forever.
It's called Record & Replay. You perform any browser task manually one time - Codex watches your actions and converts them into a ready script automatically.
What you can automate from day one:
→ Expense reports
→ Vacation requests
→ Internal company forms
→ Any repetitive browser task you do by hand every day
After the demo Codex generates an editable script. You review it, adjust if needed, and run it on repeat. No triggers to configure. No connectors to set up. No Zapier workflows that break every other week.
The same thing that used to take hours in Make or Zapier now takes one manual run and five minutes of review.
You show it once. You never do it again.
Introducing Horizon from @0rinlabs: the first long-horizon learning benchmark made from real agent logs
- SOTA is 21% on the hardest section
- 7-35M tokens of real agent history per task
- Models are hardly getting better on the hardest tasks
- Humans can score 100%

An Anthropic engineer paid for my espresso at Sightglass when he saw my screen
I was running my Polymarket bot from the counter. He was next in line. Looked over my shoulder. Stopped scrolling.
"That's not a normal trading app. What's it actually running on"
I told him. Claude Code. Four repos. $25 a month.
He sat down without asking.
"I'm on the agent team. We stress test Claude for exactly this. You're letting it find its own edges"
Not just edges. Wallets.
86 million trades. Every wallet. Every entry. Every exit.
"You're feeding Claude raw wallet data and letting it identify who consistently wins. Then cloning them"
He said it slowly. Like he was writing the threat model in his head.
One prompt. Find every wallet with 100 plus trades and win rate above 70%. Rank by profit. Export top 50.
Claude scanned 14,000 wallets in 4 minutes. Returned 47.
The top 20 made more than the bottom 13,000 combined.
"That's not a stat. That's a hit list"
Exactly.
"And you didn't write the scoring function"
Claude did. I just wired it into an if-statement.
Then I showed him the second repo.
Official Rust CLI. No API key for reads. 500 markets, Claude scores them in minutes.
Gap. Depth. Resolution window.
487 markets become 35 before a dollar moves.
93% killed before I even see them.
A green fill landed on the screen. +$84.
He watched it hit.
"How does it decide to actually enter"
Three agents. Shared wallet. No shared memory. Arbitrage, convergence, whale copy. 2 agree, full size. 1 alone, half. Disagree, no trade.
Consensus filter alone killed 40% of losing trades.
"And the exits?"
The 47 whales never hold to settlement. 91% exit early. 73% of max profit captured. Redeploy immediately.
My bot cuts at 85% of expected move or on a 3x volume spike.
"You built a whale copy bot that exits before the whales"
Yeah.
He put his espresso down.
"How often does it trade"
10 a day on average. Most of them skipped before I look up from my coffee.
My setup:
Claude API - $20/mo
VPS in Germany - $5/mo
poly_data - free
polymarket-cli - free
Polymarket/agents - free
$200 seed. 27 days ago. $14,300 now.
Copytrade here: https://t.co/zDXGamMWw0…
271 trades. 74% win rate. Sharpe 2.47.
I haven't touched it in 27 days.
He stared at the screen for a long time.
"This is literally what our red team simulates. Except you actually shipped it"
He emailed me the next morning.
"Any chance you'd take a call with our policy lead"
I told him the article is the call. Read it twice.
Too late to gatekeep.

New hires: @dannycosson and @shreyans___ have joined Zo as CTO and engineer
Maybe you've heard of the PayPal mafia but have you heard of the Venmo mafia?
Our founders @0thernet and @perceptnet met Danny and Shreyans on the early Venmo team 13 years ago
"A glitch in the matrix" is how they describe those days. New hires were made at banyas. Danny was an early engineer. Shreyans was the first hire after getting a getting a text from an unknown number that said, “Iqram paid you $1.00 for being a super sexy dude” (@iqramband and @kortina founded Venmo).
After Venmo, everyone went their separate ways. Shreyans was most recently cofounder and CTO of @MavenHQ. Danny was an engineering manager at @Uber.
Venmo was a product way before its time. It hasn't changed much in the last few years but remains ubiquitous. We hope a few years from now, you'll think the same about Zo.
THE GANG'S BACK LFG
Standard portfolios are dead, so I built an operating system instead. ⚡️
ZenOS: a personal site with a custom window manager, gamified easter eggs, and a voice AI assistant (Voi-ZOS).
Built entirely on @zocomputer for the #ZoComputerChallenge. Check out the walkthrough! 👇
ZenOS was built to push the limits of what a personal site can be—blending creative concept, robust API engineering, and highly polished micro-interactions.

The Head of Claude Code at Anthropic hasn't written code by hand in months.
In 2 days he shipped 49 full features. 100% written by AI.
He just dropped a 30-minute talk on exactly how he does it.
More valuable than any $500 vibe coding course. Bookmark it.
