he glanced towards rowan , catching the frustration in his expression before returning to the page .

@pottersnurse — mostly tears of anger towards his father.

“Not that the Lovegood’s aren’t capable but—“

He paused, gripping the arms of the chair.

He wasn’t very good with emotions. They were other too much or too little. This time they were too much.

@pottersnurse She could— he wasn’t used to having a mother figure in his life— not until Aunt Pandora of course, who loved him like her own.

“Why wouldn’t he want you to have me when he got sent to Azkaban? I could’ve had a mother this whole time—“

@pottersnurse The blonde boy nodded, curls bouncing as he did so.

“I always asked him— when I was old enough to understand. But, he never brought it up and then well. . Azkaban, and now I’m with aunt Pandora. I never knew who you were. Why wouldn’t he tell me?”

He asked, genuinely curious, sometimes his questions came off a little harsh— but he didn’t know how to express it or say it right.

Rowan’s eyes widened, as he saw the picture, jaw falling slightly ajar.

“Wait— really?”

He might cry.

she took a soft breath, well, she supposes she could tell — or rather snow him

she opens her drawer, going through it to take out a picture she’s kept in it and slides it over to him, it was right after she had him, him in her arms with a smile

@pottersnurse Rowan froze a moment, letting everything sink in, then his eyes water.

“I’ve been looking through endless pages of Dad’s yearbook—“

Rowan gave her a confused look, tilting his head slightly to one side.

“Sorry— that wasn’t supposed to come off so forward like that. I’m just— I want to know.”

He frowns, though he’s rambling.

wow, okay, right to the point, how does she even answer this? does evan even want him to know about her?

“well— uh—“ she was not prepared for this

“Do you know who my mother is.”

she nods her head, forcing herself not to swallow nervously

He shifts slightly in his seat, brows furrowing.

“You went to school with my dad.”

uses her wand to close the door behind him, she has her hands clasped together on her desk as to not let her nervousness show

as does he … he looks very much like evan, she could recognize those features anywhere, and unless he had other kids well— she won’t get into that yet

he replies with a chuckle, finishing off his current page and flipping to the next.

Rowan huffs, he’s clearly frustrated about the whole thing. As if it wasn’t obvious.
