Great news! I have officially been added to the guest lineup page for Retro World Expo. The dates are September 12th & 13th. I have been granted a larger time slot this year for my CRT performance.
The CRT Wizard's Workshop will be an interactive experience. The audience & I will have about 90 minutes to work through some repairs & services on a CRT TV I found on the street. If you've been to one of my workshops in the past, please note that I change my workshop each year to keep it fresh. There are some things that happen at each time, like a CRT Zap from a discharge, but the workshop is always different. Whether your a seasoned CRT veteran or a new CRT enthusiast, you are sure to have fun and learn something. There is no additional charge to attend the workshop. It is open to anyone attending the Retro World Expo.
I will have a booth on the convention floor with Bob from Retro RGB, Tito from Macho Nacho, Ken Maker and other friends. Come by and say hello. I will have some refreshed and serviced CRT TVs and Sony PVMs available for purchase in the booth. I'll have more details on that soon.

Here is a feshly rebuilt Dell M770 PC CRT (1999). It's gotten 54 new upgraded capacitors and fresh solder. This beautiful machine is ready to go another 27 years.

Screw it, I just spoke with the owner. We are going to rip out all this PAL hardware and install NTSC boards and a better shadow mask tube. Then I can just saw the original board in half and run traces to the OG buttons and have this thing go full NTSC.
