Meet Tenaka Dube, a Zimbabwean 🇿🇼 content creator living in South Africa.

He came to South Africa in 2013 on a study visa. After discovering that South Africa offered fertile ground for his content-creation career, he later applied for asylum, reportedly claiming that the Zimbabwean government had accused him of being involved with a civil society organisation advocating for the rights and lives of Zimbabweans.

The asylum claim raises questions about the circumstances under which he sought protection and whether the grounds presented meet the requirements for asylum under South African law.
