The planning & development, and the finance departments were involved in a decision but the Antiquities and heritage department that is the custodian of heritage properties is not consulted. Nor any heritage practitioner @marvimazhar or

The caretaker government- Sindh decided to demolish decade old buildings at Martin Quarters, Jamshed Quarters, Jahangir Quarters & Clayton Quarters for building apartments & malls. It's a horrible decision a plan to erase the old heritage of Karachi.
