@Ben1Rosen@DomCat77@506sports Also Dolphins are so bad that even if the Bucs weren't playing, Tampa would probably not get MIA-NYJ. But yes they have to show a late game since the Bucs are on.
@BradyHo34136718@kingdom_royals There is actually, every AFC Divisional matchup has to go to CBS at least once per year. Same with NFC Divisional matchups for FOX.
@jamfan40@ItsRebelMontana@JayydenBlue18 KC/DEN automatically goes to CBS because ESPN had the other game, meaning CBS would then protect BAL/BUF so it can't be that one either. It also can't be MIN/DET because NBC has the other one, nor can it be CLE/PIT because Prime had the other one.
@CameronJudson@awfulannouncing For every divisional matchup, at least one game a year has to go to the home network. KC-DEN, CLE-PIT, and MIN-DET are all scheduled to be primetime at other points in the year, so these ones can't be flexed. Then, CBS still has a protection, they can use it on BAL-BUF.
@R_HUD24@506sports The Colts are playing the 0-5 Titans though, Ravens-Browns is a bigger rivalry game which is also important to Bengals fans in Louisville, in addition to the Lamar Jackson-Louisville connection.
@BlizzyB_@JaguarGator9NFL@scottler424 That doesn't happen. The only exception maybe is if one of the games is in Week 18, the league can be a little more flexible that week, but that is not the case. And they wouldn't flex this one in to flex the other one out, that is too many logistics.
@sportswithben1 This is very normal. They will never leave the 4th quarter/OT of a competitive 1 PM game for the start of a 4:25 PM game unless it's your local team in the 4:25 PM game.
@DanielJacksbgt@kayboo1284 You're right about us getting their games, the Lions seem to be the least popular among the NFC North teams and with them not performing as well recently, that probably plays into it.
@_Klipspringer@506sports Browns are the #3 team there. Bills are #1 and Steelers are #2, so the only way they show the Browns is if neither the Bills nor the Steelers are playing. Just so happens to be that there has been one of those conflicts every week so far.
@Polar39er@506sports If it was a different NFC North team playing, all of those markets would probably get it, but the Lions generally seem to be the team the rest of the division cares the least about. And the Lions aren't looking as good as in past years.
