🇮🇳 बिजनौर में सैनिक बंधु बैठक आयोजित

दिनांक 8 सितंबर 2026 को बिजनौर में जिलाधिकारी, बिजनौर की अध्यक्षता में सैनिक बंधु बैठक आयोजित की गई।

बैठक ���ें लगभग 80 पूर्व सैनिकों (ESMs) ने प्रतिभाग किया तथा उनकी विभिन्न समस्याओं एवं शिकायतों से संबंधित लगभग 31 प्रकरण प्राप्त हुए।

बैठक में एसपी सिटी, कोषाधिकारी एवं जिला सूचना अधिकारी सहित संबंधित अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे। इसके अतिरिक्त 9 पंजाब रेजिमेंट, मेरठ से सेना के प्रतिनिधि भी बैठक में उपस्थित रहे।

जिलाधिकारी द्वारा पूर्व सैनिकों की समस्याओं को ध्यानपूर्वक सुना गया। बैठक के दौरान संबंधित उप जिलाधिकारियों एवं विभागीय अधिकारियों से समन्वय कर कई प्रकरणों का मौके पर ही समाधान कराया गया। शेष प्रकरणों को भी आवश्यक कार्यवाही हेतु संबंधित अधिकारियों को भेजा गया है, जिनका निस्तारण शीघ्र अपेक्षित है।

सैनिक बंधु बैठक पूर्व सैनिकों को अपनी समस्याओं को सीधे जिला प्रशासन एवं संबंधित विभागों के समक्ष रखने का एक महत्वपूर्ण मंच प्रदान करती है।

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Dr. Somendra Tomar, distributed the National Flag to Veer Naris and Ex-Servicemen, reaffirming our nation’s gratitude towards those who have served and sacrificed for the country.

The Hon’ble Minister also presented Commendation Certificates and Mementos to the dedicated employees of the Zila Sainik Kalyan evam Punarvas Karyalayas & Uttar Pradesh Purv Sainik Kalyan Nigam , in and around Meerut, appreciating their commitment to the welfare of veterans and their families.

A significant step has been taken to honour the brave sons of Bijnor. The Bhoomi Pujan (foundation stone ceremony) for the construction of the Shaheed Stambh (Martyrs' Memorial) was conducted today by the Bijnor Municipal Council.
This memorial will stand as a lasting tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of our martyrs, inspiring generations to come. Honouring our heroes is honouring the nation.

On the eve of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a solemn tribute and felicitation ceremony was held at the Zila Sainik Kalyan & Rehabilitation Office, Meerut, to honour the supreme sacrifice of our Kargil heroes.

Hon'ble Dr. Somendra Tomar, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Political Pension, Sainik Welfare & PRD, Government of Uttar Pradesh, paid floral tributes to the martyrs and felicitated 21 Kargil War veterans and Veer Naris. Brigadier Atul Kumar, SM (Retd), Director, Sainik Welfare & Rehabilitation, Uttar Pradesh, reaffirmed the Government's commitment to the welfare of veterans, Veer Naris, and martyr families.

The occasion also marked the release of "Veer Gatha," a short documentary produced by FTII Pune under the aegis of the Directorate of Sainik Welfare & Rehabilitation, Uttar Pradesh, celebrating the courage, patriotism, and supreme sacrifice of the state's brave soldiers.

The ceremony witnessed the participation of a large number of Ex-Servicemen, Veer Naris, serving personnel, martyr families, and distinguished citizens, united in paying homage to India's brave heroes.

Brigadier Atul Kumar (Retd.), Director, Rajya Sainik Board, Uttar Pradesh, visited the Zila Sainik Kalyan Evam Punarvas Karyalaya, Meerut, on 15 July 2026. During his visit, he paid floral tribute to the bust of Maha Vir Chakra awardee 2nd Lt. Shyamal Dev (S. D.) Goswami, MVC, honouring the gallant war hero of the 1962 Indo-China War.

The Director also inspected the office, reviewed its functioning, interacted with Veer Naris and the staff, appreciated their dedicated service towards the welfare of Ex-Servicemen and their families, and presented a memento to the office in recognition of its efforts.
