My wife Yara and I were talking about everything we have gone through during the war in Gaza—how we survived death more than once, and how we were displaced from place to place, from one tent to another.

Yara said to me sadly, “The world sees us as if we do not deserve life… no one sees us.”

I tried to convince her that there are many people around the world who care about us, who stand with us and pray for us 🙏
