@AkyolinEnglish@RoyaTheWriter@MBNEnglish@alhurranews I know and appreciate you are and pray you & like minded Muslims succeed to convince those who don't seem to fathom that "if Allah is asking for faith, which in its meaning cannot demand compulsion, who then are men, religious/state leaders to demand compulsion?"! All the best.
As the subject is religious freedom, now answer this: "Is it acceptable for a Muslim, Turkish or otherwise, to choose to openly follow another faith, or no faith, in the Muslim majority countries?"
“Could a Muslim, a ‘Turk’ — the era’s common term for a Muslim — hold office?
The answer was yes.”
Brilliant piece by @RoyaTheWriter in @MBNEnglish@alhurranews highlighting the vision of religious freedom in America’s founding that included all religions, including Islam:
Eurostat verilerine göre; Türkiye'de 15-29 yaş arası gençlerin %26,3'ü ne eğitimde ne istihdamda!
Avrupa'da açık ara 1. sıradayız.
Gençlik geleceksizleşiyor.

Conversion from any religion to another (or to disbelief) should never be a crime. What God would want someone to be dishonest about their beliefs!? But sadly applications throughout the Muslim world ignores this. You're criminalised for being honest to your God given conscience.
Conversion from Islam to another religion should never be a crime — just as conversion to Islam is not. (Muslims would rightly be outraged if it were.)
The “apostasy” bans underlying such religious persecution are un-Quranic, historically rooted, and should be abolished today.
@AkyolinEnglish God in ordering things like "believe", "have faith" shows He does not seek faith by compulsion or coercion. So NO religion should be practising these. How dare any human, cleric or not, take on the mantle of judgement on such matters which is only God's sole right.
To the World Media:
Can you please stop focusing us on greedy, lying, narcissistic, unjust, foul mouthed, self-centred fame mad people and give us endless news of kind, just, humble, hard working, self-sacrificial lovely people from all around the world! PLEASE.
How any Christian in the USA has thought this man has any faith (except in himself) & has trusted him I just cannot think. Thankfully he is so fake that even anti-Christians don't think he is a Christian! As for those Christians who do, apologise to God & re-read your Bible.
Over the years, I’ve been inclined to believe that most white evangelicals do not see Trump as Savior (though some do)… but many do admire him in an idolatrous way that betrays their core fidelity to Christ.
They find Trump’s aggressive rhetoric, crushing policies, flamboyant greed, and vulgar pride much more enticing than the compassionate, merciful, sacrificial love of Jesus.
The pushback he got after this post reaffirms that paradox.
However, as disturbing as it is… this is also very apparent. Trump does in fact view himself as Savior… and certainly Trump admires Trump more than Christ…
even if some evangelicals are still deciding which master they will serve.
Follow Jesus. Not Trump.
Frank Herbert (Amerikan yazar, 1920-86 - Dune):
Frank Herbert (US Author 1920-86 — Dune):
"All governments suffer a recurring problem: Power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible.”
I agree on religious freedom but I have not heard one answer to a question I have asked for years: "What do you do if a religion uses or aims to use this freedom to bring in its own theocratic rule?"
"In an increasingly illiberal Britain," @DanielJHannan rightly stands on principle:
"If religious freedom means anything it must be for all – and that includes Muslims."

So tickets are approx. €38 & €9. Net min. wage in France is ~€1500 & in TR €550! The issue is not the difference (& idea to attract locals to museums) BUT the high price in the first place for both! They cld argue it avoids overcrowding or just greed who knows?
@anadoluajansi Para hastası toplum olarak her yeri beton yapıp herkesi belli yerlere yığarsak olacağı budur. Bunu anlamak için de ne mimar ne de şehir plancısı olmak gerek.
@AkyolinEnglish But all three have turned into a concrete jungles with massive imbalance and distribution of wealth and their peoples (esp. their youth) depressed. What keeps their people going is more stealth than wealth!!
I’m so so angry! Angry at attitudes & the self-serving leaders who cannot bow their heads & show humility in the face of the suffering of thousands of dead & living. Who, instead, turn an expected act into a shameless show. Oh Lord it’s hard to grasp your patience with mankind.
