@TheBasedOneKMO@Stealth40k They have released almost one a month since Switch 2 launched. I totally get that they might not all be your jam, but they are putting them out there. No other platform releases more first party games. Not even half.
@BobWulff I negotiated my desk into a position right next to the entertainment center (we live in a studio). Then it was just a matter of sneaking an HDMI cable along the floor. Presto! Living room PC that’s technically on a desk.
@MikeStrawMedia One day, when all the massive corporations have moved on from gaming because they realized the line can’t always go up when making things that only ship every few years, there will still be some guy making a kickass game in his spare bedroom. AAA is in trouble, not games.
@DearS_o_n I challenged everything I ever believed, thoroughly and honestly. What held up, stayed. What didn’t, fell off like dead wood. What I was left with was peace.
@Nathan2583471@AnAverageGamerX They still consider it first party when they contract another studio to build a game, because it’s still designed and overseen by their producers.
@KeziaSolidor@valvesoftware@HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN They also could have subsidized it by bundling it with Steam credit. Ensure nobody can buy it without spending money on their storefront. That would mitigate the risks of companies buying it for non-gaming purposes. Gamers wouldn’t mind much.
@KeziaSolidor@valvesoftware@HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN Let Lenovo, MSI and ASUS take the heat for the prices 😂
Just keep optimizing SteamOS for more hardware and crank out as many of those controllers as they can. I think that’s where gaming is going anyway.
