@daysfullofrain I can't say I do this but I definitely put myself in their shoes in other ways. When I read fanfic I often make the expressions I picture the characters making. If a character winks, I wink. If the author says an expression is a mix of x and y, I'm making that face to picture it.

I have had writers block for almost a year. I haven't written more than lile 5k words in a year. I need an idea that speaks to me but keep coming up empty. I'm dying inside, can someone like remote into my brain and fix it or say some secret sleeper agent words idk just send help

@forehead_high My fave fanfics are mostly OT5 or m/m or Cloud/OC but Clerith is the one I believe in and am rooting for. I don't think canon is the only or most important thing, but the nastiness made me feel more strongly. I'd be in my own little corner if I hadn't seen how bad it gets.

I'd not give a damn if CA is or isn't canon if it weren't for other people insisting they aren't and belittling CAs. Ironically, it's CA detractors that make me passionate about the ship rather than quietly enjoying it in my own little world. I wouldn't be here if they behaved.

I decided to try world of final fantasy again after bouncing off years ago because the art is so cute, but listening to Tama talk like that gave me a migraine. Pity I doubt steam will let me return it twice lmao guess I'll hope third time's the charm?

I think it's just another example of media illiteracy that's prevalent in certain portions of the fandom. Too stubborn and blinded by the ship to think deeply.
