The problem with your thinking is, most gun collectors and aficionados and your average young lady with a 38 special aren’t the ones robbing people in the streets or holding up grocery stores or car jacking folks etc.
Most mass shootings (i think 4 victims is the boundary to cross to get that designation) are gang related shootings. Your beef seems to be aimed at regular and regulated gun owners who are doing no harm, but talking as if they are the ones doing the crimes.
You should get out of the city and visit a shooting range and just talk to all the folks and ask questions. That’ll lift away quite a lot of your ignorance in the subject of safe and regulated gun ownership. Come to LA and I’ll take you to a range nearby. I hope you aren’t afraid of old Filipino riflemen and young nerdy Chinese and Korean dudes with fully tricked out ARs and bolt actions.
