Northern Ireland Water are STILL failing to invest in our future and record data on sewage discharges into our rivers and seas. ❌ We can't trust the water is safe. We're #sickofsewage and need action now.

South West Water are full of 💩
Stratospherically high levels of E. coli were found in the water samples we took at St Agnes last Thursday.
@SouthWestWater tried to deny responsibility. But the E-Coli levels of the four samples we took were between 35,000 and 230,000 CFU per 100ml of water. E-coli levels in coastal bathing waters must not exceed 500 CFU/100ml. 😱 😡 🤬
Long weekend coming up with nice weather predicted, but will people be able to enjoy our beaches safely? ❌
Time to put an end to #profitingfrompollution 👇
How much longer is the public supposed to foot the bill for water comapies' greed?
In 2021, water companies paid £965.4 million in dividends and rewarded CEOs with £16.5 million for some of the worst environmental performance ratings in the past 5 years.

This year's Water Quality report revealed a staggering 103 sewage overflows across England failed to report their activity for more than 2 weeks during the bathing season.
This includes 44 overflows that were left completely unmonitored throughout the entire season... 💩❌
Following a huge sewage spill on Sunday, this was the scene at Trevaunance Cove in St Agnes today. South West Water were there working above the pipe which is discharging onto the beach, turning the sea brown and giving off a strong smell of poo. @CornwallLive@sascampaigns
"With every drop of water you drink, every breath you take, you're connected to the sea. No matter where on Earth you live. Most of the oxygen in the atmosphere is generated by the sea." 🌊

That sickening #sewage slick in St Agnes shows just what we're fighting against 🤮🤬
Big companies are profiting at the expense of people and planet, and our broken system allows it to happen.
Help fuel our fight. Help #EndSewagePollution. ✊🌊

Our deepest condolences to our patron, His Majesty King Charles III and the rest of the Royal Family for the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
The plan that allows water companies to dump 💩 on beaches until 2035? Or even 2050? #SewageScandal
UK government’s sewage spills strategy is ‘cruel joke’, say critics https://t.co/EPsFYztIPv
📢 💩“Every year we track thousands of sewage spills at some of England and Wales’s best loved beaches. Water companies are routinely using our rivers and beaches as a sewage dumping ground, compromising the health of the environment and people alike.”

Can't believe I just saw this, @SouthernWater spokesperson on @GMB telling customers
"You then need to use your judgement on whether you feel it's safe to go swimming or not".
So it's up to you if you want to go swimming in a load of sewage, not our problem. WOW! @HugoSAS
