I may need more context.. but if your client offered a 10 CAP on any net lease, it sounds like they’re dreaming and you’re wasting everyone’s time.
🤷♂️
Luxuries we forget that are luxuries:
1. Your mom still around
2. Hot water
3. Feeling healthy
4. Peace of mind & heart
5. Perfect weather days
6. Good food
7. Bills paid
8. Reliable transportation
Checking on a presumably poor person in a tent sounds like “I was sick and you visited me” so why were you applauding the people harassing the police?
Second, did you notice how Jesus mentions prison? Perhaps jail for serve a purpose..
Lastly, what does this have to do with Trump?
I never voted for the guy.. Drug addicts, homelessness, poverty, gangs and drug deals have all been around since before Trump.. McCarthur Park looked like that under Biden too, bucko! Skid Row has existed for 50-60 years and CA / Los Angeles has been controlled and run by Democrats the larger part of the last what, 30 years??
Why bring everything back to Trump? This is the Trump Derangement Symdrome people talk about.. the guy is shitty person / President so we should scram at police and let the homeless OD en masse and burn Los Angeles down.
What is your point? What’s the solution? What needs change? Remove Trump and party preferences from the conversation… how do we fix this worsening problem of addiction and death of the homeless population?
Do you want a specific verse? Let’s agree and remember we’re in 2026 and have things like cartels, gangs and highly addictive drugs like meth, fentanyl and crack.. and the “poor” in question are majority homeless drug addicts. Okay?
The conversation is about how to treat the poor. My claim is that, it is not with free dope kits and screaming at cops for making sure someone isn’t dead.. I don’t think there’s a specific verse but if I had to pick, I’d go with these:
Psalm 35:10 My whole being will exclaim, “Who is like you, Lord? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them.”
Meaning, with our modern problems.. I.e. the drug addicted poor, you protect them from drug dealers (“those who rob them or too strong for them”) not enable them, you ensure they’re healthy and not dead in a tent!
Psalm 82:3 “Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.”
What is the cause of the poor and the oppressed? To be free to do drugs in a tent all day until they die? I don’t think so!
Thanks for asking. Now what does your bible say about how to treat the poor?
I think the people selling drugs to the homeless, destitute addicts and the programs handing out frees pipes and needles to them are the real issue here.. and not the imaginary scenario you’re talking about.
If that happened, there’s legal remedies.. what recourse does the dead man in a tent have? Who will hold his dealer accountable?
