Golfers...
Please do your damn drills!
I know you want to hit balls at full speed, I know you do. But, you need to earn the right to do it after doing the drills you have been asked to do
All it takes is some patience & discipline.
If you have 60 balls & you are trying to make some changes to your swing, here's what I want you to do:
1. 10 Balls - Pause swings
2. 10 Balls - Slow motion swings
3. 10 Balls - 50% speed swings
4. 10 Balls - 90-100% speed swings
5. 20 Balls - Randomise targets, go through full routine, place swing under some pressure
That's honestly such a simple practice session that works on some technique & transfer training
If you want to make changes, do your damn drills! 🙂
Purdue will have their hands full Friday night, and it will be a crazy uphill battle to pull this thing off — but I’ll be damned if I don’t spend the next 5 days believing like hell because that’s all we got.
What am I supposed to do, not trust Paint?
The faster your green speeds are, the less interesting your greens can (generally) be.
There used to be an artistry in golf greens, that was made possible by the green speeds of yesteryear.
Greens < 11 can be fantastic & challenging whereas > 13 not so much.

For some reason, I have been thinking about this moment a lot today.
It's from John McCain in 2008 at a town hall.
The woman begins to espouse conspiracy theories about Barack Obama's nationality.
He immediately shuts it down.
"No ma'am. He's a decent family man."
Ryan Walters has quietly assembled an elite squad of play makers. Two studs in the backfield, stud tight end, and some big ass wide receivers.
Against Notre Dame, if Purdue can protect Card, it'll have a great chance to pull off the in state upset.
BREAKING NEWS: 2x Major Champion Jon Rahm has decided to withdraw from the US Open at Pinehurst, due to an infected sore located between the little toe and the next toe on his left foot, sources close to Rahm tell me.
I'm told the infection is healing with antibiotic treatment, but Rahm remains in pain and does not want to compete in a tournament in which he does not believe he is physically capable of winning.
