I Lived in Texas my whole adult life, so I understand property taxes they’ve always sucked. Mine were just under 2%, with the majority going toward school taxes that everyone complains about.
I recently moved to Oklahoma for work, and with both state income tax and property tax, it honestly feels worse than Texas.
