@CoachDeVito1 100% but I think you can get a good amount of time on grass from college. Plus you also have a mentor in your HC right there, whereas that may not be available in a club setting. Youth coaching is an opportunity that should be taken though

@CoachDeVito1 …are periods of time where the coach is just putting together sessions for the sake of. Quality hours v. Quantity hours sometimes. I do think coaching different ages and levels has so many benefits and every coach should try to get out of their comfort zone.

@CoachDeVito1 But in fairness there are some programs that have 2nd teams. If a coach is involved or running one or both of those sessions, that still comes out to at least 100 sessions in a calendar year. Coaching 2-3 youth teams at a time can be difficult to manage, and surely there…
