@TheBriefSheep @DreamLeaf5 @TheRealJohnSolo You’re right I apologise, I was being short for the sake of Twitter. The US is both a republic, and a representational democracy. Fundamentally your country is founded on the principles that the people hold the power, and exercise that power by voting.

@TheBriefSheep @DreamLeaf5 @TheRealJohnSolo You do know that a republic and a democracy are not opposite things? A country can be both at the same time… republic just means no monarch, it doesn’t make any assumption on how the government is chosen. China is a republic as well.

@CaseyKeri @RyanMarino You do know that there is lots of metal in a baby’s body already right? Dietary iron is literally metal, your bones are metal (shocker, calcium is a metal), do you have silver fillings? They’ve got mercury, tin, copper etc. Metal toxicity is context based, and vaccines are safe.
