The result was a 77% higher session attendance (14.35 vs. 8.13 sessions) over the follow-up period of 8 weeks compared to the traditional (ACSM/FITT) exercise prescription. Importantly, session attendance was measured objectively, by card scans rather than self-reports.

Prof. Michael Joyner was suspended without pay from the Mayo Clinic for his commentary on COVID-19 and trans issues.

He later sued for contractual and academic freedom violations.

A judge ruled that his case can proceed on 4/5 claims.

The claim he lost?

A finding that Mayo's academic freedom promises are window-dressing and mean nothing.
