Colossal failure by FLY to not retain their best players, and even more so the LCS for not offering enough money to keep them. Really shows you the state of the league, from throwing millions around yearly to not be able to retain the best team in NA.

how easy is it to become a LoL media member we are asking ragebaiting questions and wearing sweatshirt in an interview. it might be time for a job change
I asked Kiin about Chovy choking and he said this:
"Honestly... Regarding our loss, we all had a part to play in it and so we lost."
"Instead of pinpointing exactly what went wrong, I wanna tell my teammates gj guys, we worked hard"
"And honestly Chovy has a lot of experience and is a strong person so I'm sure he'll be able to overcome this"
FlyQuest looked nothing like they did all year, from draft and also gameplay. Seeing Inspired uncharacteristically tilt in game should also speak volumes to how bad things must be. The drafts were atrocious and always were making FLY be the ones loading into game w/ onus on them. But the gameplay was even worse. Credit to CFO for being so much more solid and playing better #Worlds2025

Please G2 management don't do your job of preparing for the future and always keeping eyes on the market and jumping on opportunities that open up, don't honor the commitment of fans, players and coaches of surrounding the people involved with the absolute best talent
Please G2 keep yourself at a disadvantage in the off-season and start it way later then majority of the teams
Just in case people have their feelings hurt and don't perform in a high pressure environment where they must prove themselves daily because slots are limited even more so on a team like G2 that wants to win
Don't inquire about players like Inspired when he's available because you might hurt the vibes due to potential leaks
Because players definitely have no incentives to perform if they are getting potentially replaced - Players are too innocent to understand the nature of their job and they should blindly believe that they are irreplaceable and not be under the conditions of their contract that they signed
What a fairy tale people are living in

Long post ahead:
This MSI was a challenge for me personally, with Stitch passing right before the event I was obviously grieving & it brought back a lot of the pain from my father dying right before last years MSI.
I wanted to channel my grief & emotions in a positive way and also wanted to do my part in giving Canada the show they've so badly deserved for years. The schedule for the event itself is pretty grueling with many back to back show days, double BO5 days, doing the DIVE after shows, story meetings etc. I think this was compounded by how drained I was feeling emotionally for sure as well, and the fact that I was picking up a lot of extra days with others getting sick.
The event itself was amazing, had fantastic games & a truly unforgettable crowd throughout. I've never felt so much love from fans in person and got to meet, take pictures with & sign things for hundreds and hundreds of fans. It was truly a joy to meet so many of you and hear stories about people who've been watching me since my wow pro days, grew up near where I did in Canada, have watched every episode of the DIVE and many other stories.
I've been working really hard to make myself into someone who can excel in any role that's needed from me, and it was cool to be able to do my first on stage interview at a big event, my first international tri-cast as a PBP & to lean into some fun skit ideas I had for the desk. I'm so happy people enjoyed it all, and as I continually compare my current self to past versions of me I can see the growth which is very satisfying. I can honestly say having cast consistently since 2010 that I still love it, and am still hungry to get better and better each day.
I've always been proudly Canadian and felt a really special connection to the event, which has made me all the more grateful to have been a part of it. It's easy to lose sight of what you have when you're looking constantly towards your next goal, but I am honestly so lucky to do something I feel this passionate about and to have so many people around the world enjoy and appreciate the work I do.
This is absolutely the longest post I've ever made, but I felt like sharing how I was feeling with the end of MSI. Thank you for reading it if you've made it this far, and thank you to all of you who continue to support me in doing what I love. See you next time.
