Imaan Mazari is a name which has been echoing in the streets of Balochistan for her key role in standing firm against state odds in Islamabad when the Baloch protesters marched there to be heard after repeated ignorance and crackdowns back home. It was @ImaanZHazir and her husband @AdvHadiali who were challenging the Islamabad administration and giving their every best to get the families protected from the barbaric state institutions. And now they face harassment in various means, including the recent Islamabad High Court’s chief justice drama and the story that followed.

This is a simple and straight reminder: you can only change the state standards when the power is on the right hand. But here, various means are adopted to harass those who are struggling to uphold the legal fraternity.

Imaan has also been an advocate for the Baloch students who were forcibly disappeared in Punjab and Islamabad. Her contributions towards the Baloch are notable while her recent harassment is an act to pressurize her for her continuous human rights struggle.

May you get the strength to challenge all the unusual state acts and stand the same tall as ever. Balochistan acknowledges your efforts and will continue to stand by you in your every thick and thin.
