Hey X 👋🏽
I’m Zainab. I build AI-powered automation systems for SaaS companies.
I’m particularly interested in the problems that happen after you acquire a customer:
- Customers not fully adopting your product
- Poor onboarding and follow-up
- Customer signals being missed
- Manual customer-success processes
- Churn that could have been prevented
- Expansion opportunities falling through the cracks
My goal is simple:
Build systems that help SaaS teams understand their customers better, act on the right signals faster, reduce repetitive work, and ultimately retain and grow more revenue from their customer base.
I’ll be sharing what I’m learning, building, testing and breaking along the way.
If you’re building a SaaS company and customer retention, growth or operational efficiency is something you care about, you’re in the right place.
Let’s build.
If I joined a growing SaaS company tomorrow, these are 5 processes I’d look at automating first:
1. Customer onboarding
Automate the repetitive work after a customer signs up:
- Account setup
- Welcome/next-step communication
- Task creation
- Data collection
- Onboarding reminders
- CSM handoffs
The goal: get customers to their first meaningful outcome faster.
2. Lead capture + routing
When a lead comes in:
- Capture the data
- Enrich/qualify it
- Assign it to the right rep
- Create the CRM record
- Trigger the appropriate follow-up
This removes manual handoffs and reduces the chance of leads sitting untouched.
3. Customer health + churn signals
Don’t wait until a customer says they’re leaving.
Automate alerts when signals change:
- Product usage drops
- Key features aren’t being adopted
- Onboarding stalls
- Support issues increase
- Renewal is approaching
Then automatically create the appropriate CSM task or escalation.
4. Failed payment recovery
A failed payment shouldn’t immediately become lost revenue.
Automate:
- Failed-payment detection
- Retry attempts
- Customer notifications
- Expiring-card reminders
- Escalation when recovery fails
This is one of the classic automation opportunities in subscription businesses because the process is repetitive and time-sensitive.
5. Customer support triage
Instead of having your team manually sort every incoming request:
- Classify the issue
- Identify urgency
- Route it to the right team
- Pull relevant customer/context data
- Trigger an escalation when necessary
The goal isn’t to automate every support interaction.
It’s to automate the repetitive operational layer so humans can focus on the cases that actually require judgment. (Galific Solutions)
The pattern is simple:
Capture - Trigger - Decide - Act - Escalate
That’s where I think automation becomes really valuable in a growing SaaS company.
Not because automation is “cool.”
Because repetitive processes eventually become expensive when you scale them manually.

@Osquareartist The post purchase signal I find most predictive of churn is inactivity. Before a user drop off, they tend to be inactive on the platform and this inactivity can be catched early with proper system set in place which can be used to trigger intervention to avoid churning

There is this thing called “Creative Block” or something in the creative industry, whereby you are trying to bring an idea to live but you just can’t.
I’m currently experiencing something like that now, I’ve been trying to map out a workflow since yesterday but I just can’t seem to bring it to live, it’s just in my head.
I’ve never been in this state since I started my automation journey, I know what I want to do but I just can’t seem to map out the workflow.
Has anyone ever experienced this in the automation industry and how were you able to able to bring your idea to life?
The things that have helped me so far in my tech journey and can help you too are research skills, staying true to yourself, and ability to always want to do something differently.
Just yesterday, because I want to start cold emailing again, and I know in the past I have done cold emailing before with little to no research on the people I’m emailing, I usually focus on numbers. I just want to send out volumes.
But yesterday, I thought, what can I do differently?
I want to be more intentional about the cold emails I want to be sending out this time.
This time, I’m not focusing on numbers. I want to focus on quality.
So, I researched how to research companies to find out relevant pains they are facing that my services can solve, then I can speak to it in my emails.
The things I found in the course of my research also make me happy because I know there is no way I am able to speak to these companies’ pain in my emails and I won’t see results.
I think sometimes, we just need to face reality of things and make amendments where necessary. Maybe then we will see the kind of results we are looking for.
If this resonates with you, like, comment, repost so it can benefit others, and most importantly, follow me so you can see more content like this.
PS: If you would like me to make a post on how to research companies to derive relevant pain points so you can speak to it in your cold emails and address how the service you are offering can resolve this pain for them, let me know in the comments and I will make a post on it.
One of the best things you can do as someone new into AI Automation space is not to worry about learning tools
There are over 100+ tools. You cant afford to be wasting time to be learning these tools one by one because you are scared you don’t know which one client will ask for or will be using.
You will always learn these tools along the way as you build more automations.
Good thing is all of these tools are always similar to one another. If you know one, there are chances you will know how to navigate a similar tool when you see it
So focus on building more automations today, look for use cases, actual business processes, and start automating them, you get to learn these tools along the way and you also get to build your portfolio with these automations.

Every lead your business gets is either:
- Ready to buy now
- Almost ready
- Not ready at all
Do you know which is which before
your sales team touches them?
Most businesses don't.
They find out after hours of calls
that went nowhere.
I built a system that makes that
decision automatically. In 2 seconds.
For every single lead.
Hot - CRM + instant rep alert
Warm - AI-written email sequence
Cold - archived, no time wasted
Full demo in this video.
Your follow-up speed is your
competitive advantage.
Most of your competitors are still
doing this manually.
DM me if you want to see what this
looks like for your business.
And it works like a typical 9-5. You only work Monday to Friday. And if you decide to work the weekend. Say Monday and Sunday, that's $130 for the weekend.
Imagine making $455 to $500 weekly??? Exactly. Make sure you have the skill and good communication skills.
Will list them
I created an AI Smart Glass to help blind people walk without a cane or a guide 👓
But this is not like the smart glasses people are used to seeing
Because this Glass combines AI, sensors, and GPS to help the user detect things in front of them, avoid obstacles, and know their location
But the most amazing thing is if the user gets lost, the GPS tracking system can help locate where they are from anywhere, and then send the location to the phone of the person taking care of them via WhatsApp or Email 📲
And now I am further developing it to a new level of AI + Voice, so it can speak with the user and also help them understand their surroundings
I have put the video showing how it works completely in the comment. 🎥

Let the world see what a young Nigerian can build
A customer needs your service at 2AM or wants to make an inquiry. They call, get an available slot, the job is sent to your team, and the confirmation lands in their inbox, while the team is away.
That’s the kind of 24/7 automation I built in this project.
AI Voice Receptionist & Automated Booking Assistant.
Not just an assistant that answers calls, but one that can actually move a customer through the business process.
Here’s what it handles:
🌙 24/7 booking — even outside business hours.
🙋♂️ Inquiries — answers customer questions instantly.
🚨 Urgent & same-day jobs — captures time-sensitive requests.
📅 Availability checks — checks the real calendar.
📲 Team alerts — sends job details instantly.
📧 Auto confirmations — keeps customers informed.
🔄 Rescheduling & cancellations — updates everything automatically.
🧠 Detail verification — confirms important customer information.
I don't just make AI talk to your customers.
I make it capable of moving your business forward.
Because the customer who calls at 2AM shouldn't necessarily become tomorrow's missed opportunity.
If your business takes appointments, DM me. Let's build your 24/7 booking system.

Unrelated to the whole #20 million saga, my own is as an Automation Specialist, I know I want to do more than automating repetitive tasks.
I want to use Automation to build actual solutions
But we gotta start from somewhere…
Cheers
What is even crazier is.
The client discovered him through a video that had only 200 views, and the opportunity eventually led to him going to see the client in person and check out the business.
Make content and take on any client.
Bye.
“I understand you are hiring a content writer for this role but I see more than writing needs for your business
For instance, your social media content on Thursday only received 17 likes and just one share. Just one share for a product helping people fight loneliness is unacceptable
Maybe you don’t know but loneliness is the leading cause of depression among average Americans? So you know promoting this product should be seamless
In the first instance, we will need more of an SEO expert than a content writer. Check your last ten articles and none incorporated some of the keywords used by everyday Americans when googling solutions to loneliness. I know this because I’m both, a writer and an SEO expert”
Compare this response to an average writer who’s trying to convince a client to pay $200 instead of $30 for a content writing gig. Fix your offer creation skill. It’s affecting how you freelance ….. and ….and maybe your finance
