While it's true that hiring for tasks you're unfamiliar with can be challenging, it's not necessarily a hard and fast rule. Sometimes, you may have a basic understanding of how a task should be done, even if you're not an expert in the field.

Additionally, there are various ways to assess a candidate's qualifications beyond personal proficiency. For instance, you can evaluate their previous work samples, industry knowledge, recommendations, and other factors to gauge their suitability for the job.

So while it's important to be cautious, it's not always necessary to limit hiring solely to tasks you're already proficient in.

@JanuBuilds I think this is for every founder or future founder to always prioritize understanding and addressing the actual user needs over blindly following industry trends.

Building something users don't want is just wasted effort and resources.

Identifying the target audience is kind of very important and priority step and many founders overlook this crucial step which leads them to avoidable setbacks.
