“My journey in politics began with Palestine... We said we cared about freedom, cared about justice, we cared about safety, we cared about peace, and yet we did not dare to apply those things to Palestine...”
— The Mayor of New York City Zohran Mamdani
3- Importantly, the camera the army claims belongs to Hamas was verified by our team in @EuroMedHR to be the camera of Reuters photographer Hussam Al-Masri, who was killed in the first strike.
I don't know what's worse
Being dumb enough to believe that Israel bombed a hospital twice just to go after a camera
Or being evil enough to think a Hamas camera is reasonable grounds to bomb a hospital twice
“A Hamas camera”
There are no words left to describe the absurdity and amorality of Israel’s propaganda as well as the complicity of mainstream media outlets in the West.

The IDF struck a Reuters camera and killed their cameraman, Hussam al-Masri. The IDF then put out a statement saying they struck a "Hamas camera."
Reuters dutifully reported that claim in its headline as if it had any credibility at all. Reuters is quite literally willing to call itself Hamas if Israel asks it to.
(I notice there's no byline on this story.)
The phrase "Hamas camera" will go down as one of the most infamous utterances of this genocide.
It will be studied in universities and journalism schools around the world for decades.
"Never again” is ringing hollow as Israel continues to forcibly starve thousands of trapped Palestinians in Gaza with impunity. AJ+ Editorial Lead Tony Karon breaks down the West's racist double standards.

We’ve reached the point in the genocide where every day another Israel apologist is issuing a strongly worded statement that the genocide can only continue unless the images of starving children stop. Israel must apparently stick to murder by incineration & decapitation.
The proof is now here. Pictures of starvation are inundating TV screens and newspapers around the world, and Israelis are denying it | Opinion | Gideon Levy

Israel's announced "tactical pause" in Gaza is desperately insufficient while it commits genocide against Palestinians, who are facing the catastrophic conditions Israel deliberately engineered. There must be an immediate & sustained ceasefire, and an end to Israel’s genocide.
@RoKhanna Thank you for not being complicit in genocide. This is the least we need our representatives to do. The least! But more needs to be done, more pressure now than ever!
