The thing about only having 2 parties, 2 sides to every argument means that an argument about hypocrisy is basically worthless because both sides can claim it at the same time.
"MAGA was so ready to destroy any and everybody who said anything about Charlie Kirk, but now they're defending DJT's insane rant about him on Truth social!"
This happens all the time on both sides, and it's poisoning the discourse. My takes look super good when compared to the cherry picked takes of the craziest people on the other side of the aisle!
"The Left spit on Charlie Kirks grave! They were happy he died!"
No, people on the left certainly did, but painting all people on the left with that brush is dishonest. Many other leftists reacted the opposite.
The other issue is that when you simplify America into 2 entities, both sides look absolutely insane, because the reality is each side is made of millions of independent actors.
"Liberals are constantly celebrating the deaths of right wing figures, but are clutching their pearls when Donald Trump says something not entirely positive about one of theirs!"
@TheMormonNews I've always been impressed by your integrity, Brandt. I'm sorry this happened so close to home, and I'm sorry you have to watch people try and weaponize it for their politics and agendas. I know there probably isn't much, but let me know if I can do anything to support your stake
@Srirachachau Every conservative joke is like this. Normal people are confused and if they express that confusion they say "LOL, Triggered Much, Libs?! ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ" and that way they don't have to come up with any competent jokes.
@kibblesmith A league of powerful people moves in the shadows, while our hero has to walk to the opposite side of his desk any time he needs to get something from his desk drawers.
@GovParsonMO, please do not let Missouri execute
@innonence @the_MIP client #MarcellusWilliams, an innocent person โ where there is overwhelming evidence that his trial was constitutionally unfair โ on 9/24. https://t.co/NYc3x6LP2p
