#SumnerGradeFire Update
Fire containment has increased to 95% and acres burned remains at 494. No evacuations or road closures are in place. The fire will transition back to East Pierce Fire & Rescue at 6 p.m. today.
#SumnerGradeFire UPDATE: Thankfully conditions have not worsened today. Fire remains at 20% contained and approx 800 acres burned. This fire is not out. There is still much work to do.
AVOID THE AREA. Brush fire in the field behind the Target at the 19200 block of Old Buckley Hwy E. Homes were evacuated in a 3-block radius and all businesses on either side of 192nd Ave E were evacuated.
The wildfire that started on SR410 in Bonney Lake last evening has burned about 150 acres, 4 structures, and is approx 20% contained. Resources from across Puget Sound have been mobilized to assist on the fire ground with this and other fires throughout the district.
Update: Level 3 Evacuation Alert 🚨All areas south and west of SR410 all the way to Angeline Road and Rhodes Lake Road to McCutcheon. Please leave now.
