Working on how to get a quart of dreams... into the pint pot that's life :-)

@PuppiesIover Hair of the dog 🤪😂

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

@kittythefool @JohnPrineMusic I’ve just listened to this song…. beautiful. It’s going on repeat. I hope to see you perform it live someday 🤞❤️

Borrowed Light by @rosecousins https://t.co/qcSjnnI7X3 has been on repeat for some days now. The way it swells and fades is emotionally draining and reminds me so much of Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a theme of Thomas Tallis; see if you agree. https://t.co/1HjV1dJfqX

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

I'm wondering whether I'm eligible for 'Honorary Canadian' status after attending @kittythefool and @rosecousins gigs in Nottingham and Camden respectively... with a TR/ST gig upcoming later this month at @EartHackney followed by @softcultband in Bristol early November. Phew!!

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

It would be churlish of me not to mention @steadycraig and his great set at @bodeganotts Thank you so much for bringing along @kittythefool Hats off to the sound crew too... amazing sound all night 👌

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

What an amazing night at @bodeganotts getting to watch @kittythefool after a 22 year wait. A sublime performance, one I'll never forget and ... I'll always be thankful for it 🙏

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

@TheRealFlups You’re going to be SOWry you ever started this😜🐷

@kittythefool @steadycraig I’m even going to forego my regular Sunday night soak to come and see you at @bodeganotts I promise to wear cologne 😂

From time to time I hear songs and immediately think @TransatSessions One such song is #ICouldDriveYouCrazy by @SierraFerrell

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

@blueoctober 🎶📸🆙

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

@blueoctober I’m hoping Birmingham UK is on your short list 🤞💙

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

A few, belated, snaps from the fabulous @MavericksMusic gig at @TheForumBath on Wed 24th April. Now, I know the folk of Bath are no great lookers 😜 but I doubt they would have caused the lens to crack on @MavericksMusic camera 😂Sad not to get a shot of the enthusiastic crowd 😢

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

Thank you @thejohnsmith for reminding me; it was indeed 2015 that you toured with @TransatSessions . Sorry I forgot 🫡A snap from the Symphony Hall, Birmingham gig (2018 was the last time the great @therealdannyt played)

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

@KatherinePriddy Pandora's Box. Might you play, whatever it is, at @GleeClubBham ? 🤞

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

A spellbinding performance by @thejohnsmith at @warwickarts and excellent support from #LizzieNo Hats off to #JoeRusby for the amazing sound on the night

@JohnLewisRetail That was the case. Can’t understand why I wasn’t put through to one of those stores to buy the item. I was willing to pay for delivery to home or local store. Those 2 stores still have stock but it’s not practical to travel to them, cost wise and risk of item having been sold

[John Wilkes @ZapPhotography]

Can’t remember last time I was unable to buy an item over the phone; @JohnLewisRetail soon corrected that. Rather than facilitate a purchase customer service agent suggested I travel either 80+ or 130+ miles to stores that held stock. How many more missed sales can they afford?
