As the junta attempted their coup on 1 Feb, President Win Myint says he was threatened with 'harm.' He replied he would rather die than resign. On Monday a judge indicted #DAASK and Win Myint for alleged breaches of Covid-19 restrictions.

Myanmar - October 12, 2021.
Two 2 years old children, two 20 years old youths and two 60 years old people from Hpaw Jung village were injured due to heavy artillery shells by the Myanmar junta military in Mong Ko town, northern Shan State. Three from them are severely injured.
On the day of the coup, two military officials came to President U Win Myint and asked him to resign "for health reasons". They threatened him that he would personally be "in danger" if he refused to resign.
The President replied he would not resign even if it meant death.
@SAdamsR2P I can't believe how can ASEAN leaders believe in Nation thief terrorist Myanmar military leader and his thugs.
Whatever comes out from their mouths are lies.
@ainbandial@ASEAN Believing and dealing with the Nation thief terrorist Myanmar military junta is ASEAN fault. Whatever come out of their mouths are lies.
#WeSupportNUG#ASEAN_RejectSAC
Terrorist Myanmar military junta thugs, polices and soldiers pretend as protesters, they hide their identity without wearing uniform.
Last week also, they exploded bombs and they blame pro democracy activists.

Here is a translation of my statement on the National Unity Government's declaration of support for full citizenship rights for the Rohingya in Myanmar. An important step forward for the Rohingya, human rights and Myanmar.
After 5 weeks of doing little but bickering who will be @ASEAN envoy to #Myanmar, very weak @Asean2021_BN finally doing something? A visit by Sec Gen & chair's rep that likely will not see anything or anyone except what military junta wants them to see. https://t.co/fUZxqIbawC
@teddyboylocsin Dear ASEAN, if you can not help people of Myanmar, let it be.
But do not support or buy the time for nation thief, terrorist Myanmar military junta.
@MayWongCNA @teddyboylocsin@ASEAN Either Teddy Boy is lying (most likely) or he doesn't read letters @DFAPHL sends in his name to other states. Either way, it's not a good look for him. Once again, @ASEAN sells out the people of #Myanmar in closed door meetings & then denies it on the public stage. #SaveMyanmar
#Philippines foreign minister @teddyboylocsin denies knowledge of @ASEAN states blocking call to the #UN to suspend arms sales to #Myanmar. He's 1st regional minister to respond to this after much anger among Myanmar people. But evidence shows otherwise

Chin National Front - one of Myanmar’s 10 armed groups that’s part of the nationwide ceasefire agreement - says it’ll join forces with civilians in Mindat to fight #Myanmar army
Mindat was recently declared to come under martial law amid ongoing clashes
Important points to consider before anyone takes him too serious.
