ProPublica's arrogance is a disease of unlimited foundation funding. Like giving children too much sugar, activists behave badly, thinking their agenda is all that matters. No code of ethics, no facts, just millions to execute their dogma.

Maybe litigation will tame that hubris.

ProPublica is a news outlet funded by foundations to attack industry ($79M in 2025).
Its entire article against Averhealth relied on a scientist who, after 2 months, tried to extort the lab.
Her unsubstantiated claims were thrown out, but not the story.

But still, I'm curious if the foundations pushing @propublica's activist agenda can be held liable for damages from trying to put a company out of existence.
