@RutgersAltRoute I provide fidgets for my students, and I have found that time on a bean bag chair has also helped when sitting on their regular chair becomes uncomfortable. We set up a timer so that students can manage their own time.

@RutgersAltRoute My sped students decide on specific goals for themselves for the day. These goals are usually behavioral such as "not getting up out of my seat without asking permission." They share goals with their other teachers, and receive stickers for accomplishing the goal in each class.

@RutgersAltRoute HIB presents challenges when students are unable to learn because they do not feel safe in their school environment. This can result in students not being able to concentrate during class, or not wanting to go to school because they fear their bully.
