8 pro-Palestinian students were hospitalized after a chemical weapon attack on @Columbia campus. This is unbelievable – Columbia must take accountability and #DivestNow from Israeli apartheid.
Israeli deliberate killing of journalists condemned by @IFJGlobal
"#Palestine all evidence points to the deliberate killing of Palestinian journalists and photographers. This situation cannot be allowed to continue."
Together we can and must do more
#EndIsraeliImpunity
.@citi has the largest presence in Israel of any US bank. If Citibank doesn't call for full #CeasefireNow, I will call for others to #BreakUpWithCitibank. https://t.co/3wub0pVqyK
Citi "boasts the largest presence of any foreign financial institution in Israel." But they are silent on genocide in Gaza. Remind them that we can and will move our money if they don't stop their role in the oppression of Palestinians. https://t.co/CHfY8H5EVb
Today is #MentalHealthAction Day, so we're taking a moment to breathe.
We all have mental health. What will you do to take care of yours? Take action to support your mental health at https://t.co/QygNwSHPy6.
@SecBlinken We are outraged that you pushed through this arms sale to Israel. We demand you revoke the export license now! No more US complicity in Israel's killing of Palestinians! #BlocktheBombs CC: @HadyAmr
We should all be grateful that a ceasefire will prevent more civilians and children from being killed.
But now what? We need accountability for every war crime committed. And we need to stop underwriting crimes against humanity while doing nothing to end the occupation.
The devastation in Gaza is unconscionable. We must urge an immediate ceasefire. The killing of Palestinians and Israelis must end. We must also take a hard look at nearly $4 billion a year in military aid to Israel. It is illegal for U.S. aid to support human rights violations.
WAYNE COUNTY BOARD OF CANVASSERS - 2 Republican members voted not to certify the ballots- public comment is now open and it is intense. People calling board members racist. This is commenter Ned Staebler:
I believe every person in America is entitled to the same health care as the President of the United States—with no co-pays, no deductibles and no out-of-pocket expenses. If government-funded health care is good enough for Trump, it is good enough for all of us as a human right.
My father died of Covid alone in a hospital. I had to say goodbye to him over a phone. Trump got a joyride to sooth his desperate need for attention, while endangering the lives of the Secret Service people in the car with him. To hell with him and all who enable him.
Because you all marched & spoke truth, the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act was possible.
We must continue this fight to dismantle structural racism. This means ending poverty and mass incarceration. It means equity in education funding. It means people & communities first.
