This is what I think is going on: the original plan for Gamescom wasn’t the movie banner, but the Qixi multibanner with all 6 LIs. But since Valko was cancelled, they had to come up with a last-minute plan and ended up bringing the movie banner instead.

The problem is, the stage design had already been made and couldn’t be changed that quickly. In the second photo, you can see that the LaDS stage is connected to the Infinity Nikki stage, so changing the whole setup probably wasn’t that simple.

I also think this could explain why they still haven’t posted the Gamescom stage layout yet, because the original design wasn’t made for the movie banner at all. It was probably designed around the Qixi banner with all 6 LIs.
